Knock Shrine
The Callan Active Retirement Group is in the process of arranging a pilgrimage to Knock Shrine for Thursday, September 14, the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
With 50 people (minimum) required to fill the bus, the cost will be between €20 and €25 per person.
The bus will leave from the parish church, Callan at 8am and return at 10pm, with pick-up and drop-off in Kilkenny.
Places on the bus will be reserved on a first-come basis. This is an ideal opportunity for neighbouring parishes to join together on pilgrimage.
