A Kilkenny restaurant is in the hunt for a prestigious national award

Barista Sistas in Callan have announced they have been nominated for The Irish Restaurant Awards in The 'Best Newcomer category' for Kilkenny.

Reacting to their inclusion, a spokesperson for the restaurant commented: "Being such a small business it’s not easy in such a competitive industry but our staff’s hard work & dedication is truly paying off!"

"It will be a tough competition for us as we will be in a category with top class businesses from all around Kilkenny but we are so excited to take part!"

"We would like to thank each and every one of our loyal customers because without you it wouldn’t be possible," the spokesperson concluded.
