Callan Golf Club Ladies section held their Charity Nurses INMO day this year for two local charities.
Thursday night, last week, both the Samaritans in Kilkenny city and local woman Peggy Saunders who works tirelessly with an African Childrens' Charity raising money towards their education and health care, were presented with the funds raised.
Both charities spoke about the work they do week after week, helping those who are in need and listening to those who need their support and guidance .
Both charities were delighted with the funds raised and thanked all who contributed on the day and also to the Ladies section in Callan Golf club.
