Kilkenny firemen save the day ahead of Christmas celebrations

The traditional erecting of the Christmas tree took place on the Cross in Callan last Wednesday evening. 

The great firemen from Callan Fire House were again to the fore in erecting the annual tree. As always, their great community spirit is appreciated by the community. Every year they show up in all-weather no matter what.

Like other years Coillte provided the tree for Christmas and their generosity is always very appreciated by locals. A great team effort from all.
