Well done! Kilkenny students help pack St Vincent de Paul hampers

Christmas hampers for people in the community

tudents from two Kilkenny City schools demonstrated the true spirit of Christmas in the run up to the big day, supporting the work of the St Vincent de Paul organisation. Scroll down to read on and click NEXT to see lots more photographs from both schools involved.


Students from the Loreto Secondary School as well as their younger friends in St Canice’s National School played an important part in the St Vincent de Paul efforts to ensure everyone can enjoy a good Christmas.
The students helped pack hamper boxes that the organisation will distribute.


“Thank you to our wonderful group of students who each year help us out with the Christmas hampers. The assistance that they give to our local people in the community is unbelievable,” Phillipa Bollard of St Vincent de Paul said.
“We are very grateful for their hard work.”
