Christmas Fun Run in Kilkenny Castle Park

Goresbridge National School has organised a fun run/ walk/ buggy push for the 2 December in the Castle Park, Kilkenny at 11.30 sharp.

This is to raise funds to have the school painted in the future and also to get pupils and the community to be more active. The pupils are already running or walking in our own community park on a weekly basis and are building up their distance.

Entry is €5 per person or €15 for a family.

Wear you Santa hat or Santa socks, T Shirts or jumper, this could be a great fun event and it is open to all the community. Lots of families have had children go through the school and they have moved on but the past pupils, parents, grannies and granddads might like to get out and about and join in and they are very welcome.

There will be a few spot prizes also, the school is looking for a few donations for these, skipping ropes, all sizes of balls, hula hoops, Frisbee etc, anything that will encourage all of us to be more active- if you can help with a spot prize drop it in to the school at the end of November.

Registration for the event takes place at 10.30 in the Castle Park.
