A man accused of having approximately €40,000 worth of cannabis in his possession for sale or supply to others had his case adjourned.
Shabah Buzi, Hennessy’s Road, Waterford is accused of having drugs in his possession for personal use and for sale and supply to others at Parksgrove, Ballyragget on November 10, 2023. He is also accused of having drugs in his possession for personal use and for sale and supply to others at Patrick Street, Ballyragget on November 11, 2023.
The defendant is also accused of an offence contrary to section 12 (1) (a) and (2) of the Immigration Act.
Sergeant Morgan O’Connor told the court that the alleged quantity of drugs is approximately €40,000 worth of cannabis and added that the defendant is on High Court Bail. Matters were adjourned to April 15 for DPP’s directions.
