Front door forced open and rooms rifled through during burglary in Kilkenny

A garda appeal for information has been launched following a residential burglary in The Islands area of Urlingford, County Kilkenny on Tuesday (Feb 6).

The burglary occurred between 2.10pm and 2.30pm.

Entry was gained via the front door which was forced open and all the rooms were rifled through.

It is unknown as of yet what, if anything, is missing.

Gardaí in Urlingford are currently investigating the incident.

They are particularly anxious to hear from anyone in the area who may have seen a black Audi hatchback at the time.
