Checkpoints are in place around the city and county as part of National Slow Down Day.
This co-ordinated day-of-action targeting speed offences is aimed at reducing the number of people being killed on roads.
In the first two hours of National Slow Down Day, GoSafe detected 33 vehicles travelling in excess of the applicable speed limit.
