Gardaí are investigating
Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating an incident where a suspicious object was placed under a car causing damage to the vehicle.
The incident took place at approximately 1.15am in the Butts area of Kilkenny City.
A forensic examination has taken place and both the car and the object have been removed for further technical analysis.
The cause of the damage is unknown and gardaí are continuing their investigations.
No one was injured in the incident.
House to house enquiries are taking place.
