Defendant accused of assault causing harm at Kilkenny Garda Station

A defendant accused of assault causing harm and of public order offences had his case adjourned for DPP’s directions.

William Fitzgerald of no fixed abode in Kilkenny is accused of assault at Kilkenny Garda Station on June 23 and being intoxicated in a public place and of engaging in threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour at Lover’s Lane in Kilkenny on the same date.

Judge Geraldine Carthy adjourned the matters before the court to July 25.
