Seamus’ contribution to the Courts Service was acknowledged on Friday in Courtroom One
Courthouse management and staff, local practitioners, prison service, An Garda Síochána and various court users bid farewell to Seamus Leahy, caretaker/service officer at Kilkenny Courthouse on his retirement after 30 years of service.

Presentations and speeches were made by Judge Colin Daly (Circuit Court), Sonya Lanigan (solicitor and President of the Kilkenny Solicitors Association), Mairead O’Dwyer (Kilkenny Courthouse Manager) and various colleagues past and present and friends.

Seamus’ dedication, impeccable work ethic and contribution to the Courts Service was commended by all present, who wished Seamus every health and happiness in his retirement.
