Kilkenny driver arrives at court in uninsured car, another court date now due

The garda roads policing unit in Kilkenny stopped a motorist earlier today (Friday) 'on his way to the courthouse earlier'.

Sharing details about the incident on social media, a garda spokesperson said: "The person had a case due up today and thought that turning up in an uninsured car was prudent.

"We thought otherwise and met the driver who left on shank's mare after seizure.

"Another trip to the courthouse is ahead. Maybe use the bus next time."
