The death has occurred of John Freeman, Durrow, Laois, and formerly of Coolaghmore, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, 6th July 2023. Pre-deceased by his parents Bridget and James, his sister Maureen, his brothers Martin and Rev. Séamus SAC. Beloved husband of Catherine and much loved father of James, Sarah, Kate, David, Michael, Kieran, Robert and Evana. Deeply missed by his brothers Tommy and Pat and his sisters Esther and Mary RSM, his children’s spouses and partners, grandchildren Grace, Anna, Tom, Robyn, Hugh, Sadie and Edra, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, kind neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at his home in Durrow (Eircode R32 T8R2) on Friday, July 7th from 3pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Holy Trinity, Durrow for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 8th July at 12 noon. Burial will follow afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. The death has occurred of Lena Summerly (née Gannon), Considine’s Road, Cloughleigh, Ennis, Co. Clare and formerly of Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny, on 6th July 2023, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her husband Anthony, son Gearoid, daughter Mary, son-in-law Matt, daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Tony, Rosemary, Sarah, Liam, Ryan, Alice and Cianna, sisters Sr. Cait, Mary, Gretta and Madeline, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary Quigley (née Gannon)
The death has occurred of Mary Quigley (née Gannon), Newtown, Kells, Co. Kilkenny. Mary died 6th July 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, son Tommy and all her siblings. Mary will be forever missed by her adored family, sons Joe, Martin, Seamus and Patrick, daughters Joanne, Kate and Mary, her grandchildren Jason, Jenny, Craig, Niamh and Laura, other grandchildren and great grandchildren, daughters-in-law Eithne, Joan and Amanda, sons-in-law PJ and Paddy, Joe's partner Bernie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

John Keating
The death has occurred of John Keating, Fethard, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Shropshire, UK, and Scotsboro, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, at South Tipperary General Hospital on Wednesday, 5th July 2023. Pre-deceased by his parents Cissie and Jack and his brother Patrick. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brothers Thomas and James, cousins, extended family, kind neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Friday, 7th July from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm. Margaret Geraghty (née Morrissey)
The death has occurred of Margaret Geraghty (née Morrissey), The Sycamores, Freshford Road, Kilkenny City, and formerly of Byrnesgrove, Ballyragget. Margaret passed away on 6th July 2023, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital. Beloved wife of Eddie and much loved mother of Mark, Orla, Una, Emer, Paul, Shane and Áine. Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband and family, brother Paddy, sons-in-law Nigel, Sean, Warren and Cian, daughter-in-law Aisling, her 18 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Dan Lynch
The death has occurred of Dan Lynch, Tybroughney, Piltown, Kilkenny / Tipperary, formerly of Moyglass, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary. Deeply regretted by his wife Mary, daughter Valerie and sons David, Richard, Pat and Conor, brothers Pat, Mick, Maurice and John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his 11 grandchildren, son-in-law Gerry, daughters-in-law Sharon, Christine, Susan and Karen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dan will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home Carrick on Suir on Sunday, the 9th July, from 5pm to 6.30pm. Dan will be arriving at the Church of the Assumption Piltown on Monday the 10th July for requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
