The death has occurred of Cory Hynes, 5 Moneenview, Moneenroe, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Passed away on 2 November, 2024. Cory will be sadly missed by his mother Erika, father Damien, and sister Leah, grandparents Damien and Liz Hynes, Kathleen and Johnny Carroll, aunties Gemma, Christine, Natasha, uncles D.J., Gavin, Jason, Mark, and John, and all his cousins, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Pat O'Hanlon, Ballinaboly, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Sunday, 3rd November 2024, aged 71 years, peacefully in the tender care of his family and all the staff at University Hospital Waterford, Predeceased by his parents John and Mary. Pat will be sadly missed by his heart broken wife Margaret (née Hawe), son Lory, daughters Maria (Gillespie) and Elaine (Kenny), sons-in-law Martin and Richard, daughter-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren Eden, Flinn, Denis, Simon, Tommy and Faye, brothers Tom, Michael, Sean, Wattie, Paul and Joseph, sister Helen (Delahunty), aunt Philomena (Wilson), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

The death has occurred of Maria Da Conceicao Bento Gomes, Hawthorn Walk, Parcnagowan, Kilkenny and formerly of Middleknock, Dublin Road, Kilkenny and Lisboa, Portugal. Maria passed away on November 1, 2024, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Paulo Neto and much loved mother of Ana Claudia Neto. Maria will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Ana's partner Robert, extended family in Portugal, kind neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Teresa (Teasie) Doyle, (née Bolger), Fairview, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Teasie died peacefully and with tremendous dignity, following long illnesses, extended hospital stays and Lewy Body dementia very bravely borne. She is now at rest and is with her beloved mammy, who she spoke about and asked for daily. Teasie is mourned and loved by her devoted husband, companion and carer of 48 years, John Doyle and by their children Andrea and Darragh.
Teasie was a wonderful wife, mammy, granny, sister, daughter, godmother and neighbour who loved her family and helped anyone and everyone she could. She was a mighty woman. Teasie will be missed and fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ruby, Maisy, Myles and her son-in-law Thomas; by her grandchildren Seán and Súin and her daughter-in-law Niamh; by her brothers Christy and Dónal and their families; by her nieces and nephews, her sister in law Mary and her family, and by her neighbours and friends in Fairview and Graignamanagh. Teasie was predeceased by her beloved parents Mary and William, her brothers Pierrie, Billy, Dick, Michael, her sisters Lizzie and May and her nephew Liam.
She will rest in Walsh’s funeral home, Graignamanagh (Eircode R96D853) from 3pm to 8pm on Monday, November 4. Removal from Teasie's home at 10.45am on Tuesday morning to arrive at Duiske Abbey Graiguenamanagh for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The death has occurred of Nigel Patrick Anthony Back of Piltown Co. Kilkenny, formerly from Gerrards Cross, Bucks, UK. Nigel passed peacefully October 31, 2024 in the hands of the palliative care unit in University Hospital Waterford. Beloved husband to Michaela and father to George. He will be hugely missed by friends and relatives. He fought his illness with a great amount of bravery and dignity.
