Richard (Dick) White

The death has occurred of Richard (Dick) White, Blue Hill, Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Pre-deceased by his wife Margaret (Peg) (née Brophy), his parents and guardians, brother Billy and sisters Patricia and Mary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, sons Richie and Stephen, daughter Anita, daughter-in-law Caroline, son-in-law Ray, Stephen’s partner Rosie, grandchildren Robert, Lucy, Jessica and Katie, Rachel, Abi, Jack and Max, great-grand child Conor, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Eoghan’s Church, Kilmoganny, on Saturday, April 12, for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilmoganny Cemetery. House private please.

Vincent Andrew Keating

The death has occurred of Vincent Andrew Keating, Spink, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois and formerly of Crutt, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully at Tullamore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Sarah, sister Mags, brothers Jack, Michael, nephews baby Eoghan and Michael Jnr. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family, sisters Mary, Carmel, Breda, Catherine, Liz, Annette and Aggie, brothers Richie, Billy, Tommy, Martin Gerard, and Eugene, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Saturday, April 12,  from 2pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7.30pm. Removal from Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Sunday morning, with Funeral Prayers at 9.45am. The funeral cortege will travel, via Crutt, to Saint Patrick's Church, Clogh for Funeral Mass at 11am. Vincent will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery. Frank Harding

The death has occurred of Frank Harding, William Street, New Ross, Co. Wexford and late of the Bullring, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Thursday, April 10, 2025, aged 69 years. Suddenly but peacefully, predeceased by his parents William and Margaret, brothers John and Liam. Frank dearly loved and sadly missed by his brothers P.J. and Brian, sisters Maretta, Barbara, Claire and Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Ann Burke (née Behan)

The death has occurred of Ann Burke (née Behan), Tubrid, Woodsgift, Co. Kilkenny, on April 9, 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Stoney) Burke and her brothers and sisters. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, son David, daughter Helena, son-in-law Martin, daughter-in-law Rosemary, grandchildren Conor, Michelle, Declan, Gràinne, Kevin and Èanna, great grandchildren Saoirse, Tadgh, Óisín and Ciaràn, sister Mary, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford (Eircode E41 XO38) on Friday, April 11, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning from her residence to St. Patrick's Church, Graine arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

James Shay Walsh

The death has occurred of James (Shay) Walsh, late of Glasnevin and formerly of Kilkenny. Passed away on April 10, 2025. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Shay, loving husband to Mary and devoted father to Nikki, Tracey and Leona. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, cherished grandchildren Jamie, Matthew, Keela, Dara, Lara, Jessica and Gracie, great-granddaughter Sadie, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Sunday, April 13, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning, April 14, to the Church of Mother of Divine Grace, Ballygall Road East arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to The Mater Hospital Foundation.
