The death has occurred of John (Seanie) Massey, 15 Lacken Drive, Kilkenny and formerly of St. Francis Terrace. Seanie passed away on May 26, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Liz and Jim, brothers Owen and infant Francis and brother-in-law Seamus Fahy. Beloved husband of Ann and much loved father and best friend of John Edward. Seanie will be dearly missed by his wife and son, brothers Gerry and David, sisters Margaret and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. Seanie's family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Ayrfield Family Practice, St. Luke's Hospital and O'Connell's Pharmacy, High Street, especially Sheila, for the care and kindness shown to Seanie during his illness.
Reposing at his home in Lacken Drive (R952N2R) on Wednesday, May 28, from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm. House private at all other times please. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.30am in St. John's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium for Cremation Service at 1.30pm. The death has occurred of Gerard (Ger) Moore, Pearse Park, Clonmel, Co Tipperary and formerly Moyne and Urlingford. Ger passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital on Monday evening. Pre-deceased by his wife Trish, brothers Tom and Jack and sister Mary (Doyle), he will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughter Sandra, sons Paul and Kevin, grandchildren Evan, Aaron, Clair and Ciara, brothers Michael, Marty, Pat and Con, sisters Nora (Beckett) and Breda (Richards), mother-in-law Phyllis (O’Mahony), son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Mary and Claire, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bid) O’Rourke (née Larrissey), St. Joseph’s Care Home, Abbey Road, Ferrybank, Waterford, late of Rockfield Park, Waterford and Ballinamona, Slieverue. Co. Kilkenny, on May 27, 2025. Bridget passed away peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff at St. Joseph Care Home, Ferrybank surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Denis, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her loving sons Terry and Brendan, daughters Marie, Helen and Denise, sons-in-law David, Paul and Larry, daughters-in-law Libay and Monica, grandchildren Gavin, Brian, Shannon, Charlie, Olivia, Jack, David J, Colin, Keith, Stephen, Ciara, Darragh, Lauren and Kate, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
