The death has occurred of Margaret O’Grady (née Ryan), Westcourt, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Daingean, Co. Offaly. Unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Monday, 30th June 2025. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Peg. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, her husband Mick, daughters Sinead (Dawson) and Melissa (Burke), son Michael, grandchildren Katie, Jack and Billy, Sarah Jane and Jessica, brothers John Joe, Billy, Michael, Denis and Martin, sisters Mary, Ann, Pauline and Bernie, sons-in-law David and Mick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, especially Lily.
Reposing at her home, (Eircode R95 T2W7) on Thursday, July 3, from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass at 11am, on Friday, July 4, 2025. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan. The death has occurred of Ann O'Leary (née Roche), 5 Castle Heights, Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary / Fiddown, Kilkenny. Ann passed away peacefully in University Hospital Waterford on July 1, 2025. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Maisie and her brother Paul. Ann will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Katie and Conor, grandchildren Ava, Ajay, and Sonny, sisters Cellie and Mari, brothers John and Philip, Nieces, Nephews, extended family and her wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her Sister Cellie's home in Carrick-on-Suir E32 WR94 on Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm. House private otherwise. Removal on Friday morning to St Nicholas' church for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by private cremation at The Island crematorium. The death has occurred of Pat Fitzpatrick, Cottrellstown, Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Pre-deceased by his parents Harney and Biddy, and his recently deceased sister Margaret Drennan. The death has occurred of Catherine Keating (née Ryan) Verona Villas, O’Connell Avenue, Limerick and formerly of Callan, Co. Kilkenny. (Late A.I.B.) on June 30, 2025 peacefully at home, in the presence of her loving family. Beloved wife of Denis. Dearly loved mother of Sarah, Claire, Ruth, Gemma and Aisling. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Mark, Al, Barry and Luke, her cherished grandchildren Caoimhe, Cillian and Ciara, brothers Denis, Eddie, William, sisters Sarah and Ellen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Byrne, Birmingham UK and formerly of Collin's Park, Callan Co. Kilkenny. Paddy passed away at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham on June 16, 2025 after a short illness. Pre-deceased by his parents John (Jack) and Brigid (Ber), his sister Assumpta and his nephew Mark Anthony who both died in infancy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Renera, his sons Jack and Joseph, his brothers Michael, Johnny, Jim (Charlie) and Andrew, his sisters Ann and Maura (Walsh), nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing on Wednesday, July 9, at 6pm at Stephen and Philip Painter Funeral Home, Acocks Green, Birmingham. Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday, July 10, at The Sacred Heart and Holy Souls Catholic Church Acocks Green. Burial will follow afterwards at Robin Hood Cemetery, Solihull, Birmingham.
