Tributes are being paid to former mechanic John Joe Phelan who passed away last week.
"John Joe was an extremely valued mechanic," a spokesperson for Walsh's Toyota based in Kilkenny City said.

"We are all very saddened by his passing and wish to offer our deepest condolences to John Joe's family and friend," they added.
"Very saddened to hear, we had great chats over the years, I learned alot from him, a great friend , RIP," one person wrote in tribute.
Another person said: "The kindest man."
