The death has occurred of Sharon O'Brien (née Murphy), Sycamores, Newrath, Kilmacow, Kilkenny / Kilmacow, Waterford, on Monday, September 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Ballygriffin, Kilmacow. Predeceased by her father Jim. Sharon will be dearly missed by her devoted husband, Michael, her adored children, Daniel and Sallyann, and her heartbroken mother Mary. She will be forever missed and loved by her sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Evelyn, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends, and her faithful companion Brooklyn.
Reposing on Thursday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 5pm to 8pm. Arriving on Friday at St. Senan’s Church, Kilmacow for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Liz) Kelly (née Loughlin), New Eltham, Kent, London and formerly of the Old Road, Moneenroe, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Elizabeth, sister Renie, brothers James and Paddy, niece Sinéad, nephew Edward, and sister-in-law Margret. Sadly missed by her husband Gerry, son Howard, daughter-in-law Louise, granddaughter Amy, sisters Jane, Ann, Teresa, and brother Eddie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Saturday, October 4, from 4pm, concluding with vigil prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral cortege arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Moneenroe on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 11am. Liz will be laid to rest thereafter in the parish cemetery, Moneenroe. It is with great sadness that the Power Wiza families announce the passing of their much loved Mello Power Wiza, Cappagh, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny, and Viewmount Park, Waterford. Predeceased by his grandad Mikie and grandmother (Kaka) Mani. Treasured son of Susan and Wiza, he will be sadly missed by his heartbroken brothers Michael and Bobby, adored grandson of Pauline, Aunt Hazel and her partner John, all his beloved family in West Africa, all the extended Power and Jones families, neighbours and Mello's many friends.
Mello's removal will take place on Thursday, October 2, from his home to St. James' Church, Glenmore, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am, after which Mello's cremation will take place privately. The funeral mass can be viewed on: MASS LINK House private at all times please.
The death has occurred of Tony Harris, Cedar Crescent, Parcnagowan, Kilkenny, and late of Raheny, Dublin. Tony passed away on September 28, 2025, peacefully at home. Beloved husband of the late Rose and much loved father of Tony Jnr. He will be sadly missed by his loving son, brother Bobbie, sister Mary, Tony's partner Fani, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Beloved husband of Helena (née Silke), best friend and love of his life, forever in the hearts of his children Fiona, Sharon, Aisling and Deirdre and their partners Alan, Liam, David and David, sadly missed by his sisters Anna and Joan and his brother Paddy, his grandchildren Seán, Conor, Ruairí, Orla and Cora whom he cherished and adored, his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents Michael and Margaret, sisters Nora Leahy and Margaret Farrell, sister-in-law Maureen Murphy and brothers in law. Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., (Eircode R93 C863) on Wednesday, October 1, from 3pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Thursday at 9.45am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeefe, Ballycallan, Co Kilkenny arriving for burial at 12.30pm. House private please.
