Leo Mahon

The death has occurred of Leo Mahon, Barrow Lane, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Leo passed away at home on Tuesday,  November 18, 2025. He will be sadly missed by his wife Ann (née Culleton), his sons Colin, Darren and Gary, his sister Rose and brother Michael, grandchildren William, Lola, Ben, Lucas, Finn and Christopher, his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Walsh's Funeral Home, Graignamanagh (Eircode R95D853) on Thursday, November 27, from 2pm to 6.15pm followed by removal at 6.40pm to Duiske Abbey for prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday, November 28, followed by burial in Calvary cemetery.

Martin Stokes

The death has occurred of Martin Stokes of 10 Slevin Rise, Margaret Street, Kilkenny and formerly of Carlow and Waterford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on November 24, 2025 at his home. Beloved husband of the late Eileen and much loved father of Tommy, Martin, Tina, Paddy, Christy, Jim, Ned and the late Mikey and Margaret. He will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) Carlow from 4pm on Thursday, November 27th, with removal at 6pm to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen arriving for Prayers at 6.30pm. Eileen Keating (née Gleeson)

The death has occurred of Eileen Keating (née Gleeson), November 26, 2025, Wolfhill, Co. Laois & formerly Clara, Co. Kilkenny, at home. Predeceased by her loving husband Johnny, parents James and Stacia Gleeson, brothers Seamus, Martin and Michael. Eileen will very sadly missed by her loving sons Francis and Paul, daughters-in-law Sheila and Julie, her beloved grandsons James and Jake, sister Breda, Margaret and Kay, brothers Dick and Johnny, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer (A95 AK38) on Thursday, November 27, from 3pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 6.30pm. Removal from Coady's Funeral Home on Friday, arriving at Saint Mary's Church, Wolfhill, for Requiem Mass at 3pm. Eileen will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.

Emer Fogarty (née Healy)

The death has occurred of Emer Fogarty (née Healy), The Rise, College Wood Park, Clane, Co. Kildare and late of Conahy, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, November 25, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, surrounded by her loving family following an illness she fought with great dignity and courage. Pre-deceased by her father Pat. Sadly missed by her beloved husband Paul and her adored children Anna, Lucy and Ollie. Deeply loved by her mother Bríd, sisters Elaine and Lorraine, brothers Colm, Alan, Brian and Davy, sisters-in-law, Róisín, Laura, Muriel, Anne and Caroline, brothers-in-law Frank and Joe. Cherished aunt to Patrick, Tommy, Fiadh, Sara, Aideen, Oisín and Caoimhín. Sadly missed by her relatives, neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing at her residence on Friday, November 28, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Saturday, November 29, at approx. 10am to arrive at the Church of St. Patrick and St. Brigid, Clane for 10:30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane. In honour of Emer's vibrant spirit, feel free to wear colours of your choice. Family flowers only please. Margaret (Peg) Fitzpatrick (née Doyle)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peg) Fitzpatrick (nèe Doyle), Gurteen, Cullohill, Co. Laois and formerly of Johnstown Road, Freshford, Co. Kilkenny. Peg died peacefully, on Tuesday, November 25, in St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents James and Bridgid, husband Kieran, infant daughter Theresa and son-in-law Gerry. Deeply regretted by her loving family Con, Kathleen (Dunne), Geraldine(Dollard), John, Kieran and Liam, daughters-in-law Bernadette and Josephine, Son-in-law Martin, her 12 grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece-in-law Margaret, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Peg will repose in her home in Gurteen (R32F309) on Thursday, November 27, from 4pm pausing for prayers at 7pm. Removal on Friday, November 28, to arrive in St. Tighearnach's Church Cullohill (R32EV76) for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in Durrow Cemetery (R32CK11). House private on Friday please. Larry (Laurence) Doyle

The death has occurred of Larry (Laurence) Doyle, Brandon View House, Ballyling Lower, St. Mullins, Co. Carlow, (formerly Larry Doyle Construction). Larry passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in the tender care of the nurses and staff at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Dan and Kitty Doyle and his brother Paddy. Sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, daughter Orla, sons Michael and Laurence, grandchildren Lily and Bonnie, daughter-in-law Claire and Laurence's partner Natasha, son-in-law Colm, brothers John, Tom and Dan, sisters Bridget, Judy, Ann and Catherine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home, eircode: R95E4PD, on Thursday, November 27, from 3pm concluding at 9pm on Friday,  November 28. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, November 29, at 11am in St. Moling's Church, Glynn, followed by burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery, Tinnahinch. House strictly private on Saturday morning please.
