Hugh (Aodh) Long

The death has occurred of Hugh (Aodh) Long, Togher Crescent, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny and formerly St. Brendan's Avenue, Coolock, Co. Dublin, December 22, 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Josephine, brothers and sisters Eamon, Mary, Sally, Josephine and baby Patricia. Sadly missed and remembered with love his heartbroken wife Patricia, his adored family Jennifer, David, Shirley and Hugh, daughters-in-law Lorna and Stacy, sons-in-law John and David, grandchildren Andrew, Séan, Aaron, Alexander, Carolyn, Brian, Liam, Alex and Jordan, sisters Noreen and Alice, brothers Jimmy-Joe and Tommy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends and his precious dog Poppy.

Reposing at Doyle's funeral home Urlingford Co. Kilkenny (Eircode E41 XO38) on Tuesday, December 23, from 5pm until 7pm  pausing for prayers at 6.30pm. Removal from his residence on Christmas Eve to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Gortnahoe.

Eamon O'Rourke

The death has occurred of Eamon O'Rourke, Powerstown, Goresbridge, Co. Kilkenny. Eamon passed away suddenly on December 22, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Lil and Jim O’Rourke. Deeply regretted by his extended family, many friends and good neighbours.

Reposing in Walsh's Funeral Home, Graignamanagh (Eircode R95 D853) from 3pm, concluding at 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 23. Removal on Wednesday, December 24, from his home at 10.40am to arrive at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Skeoughvosteen for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael (Mickey) Neary

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) Neary, Ballylarkin, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Monday, December 22, 2025. Pre-deceased by his wife Lily, his parents John and Bridget, his brothers Paddy and Billy and his sisters Mary and Rita. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, sons John and Michael, daughters Catherine (Fennelly) and Breda (Lynch), grandchildren, daughters-in-law Noreen and Joan, sons-in-law Dan and Philip, sisters Bridie and Kay, sister-in-law Anne, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Tuesday, December 23, from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Prayers on Wednesday, December 24, at 10.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
