The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kay) Dowling (née Doran), Newrath, late of George's Street, Waterford and Ballybrown, Clarina, Co. Limerick, who died on Sunday, April 5, 2026, aged 91 years. Kay passed away peacefully in the tender care of her loving family and all the staff in The South East Palliative Care Centre, Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford, predeceased by her parents Frank and Bridget, sisters Anna, Phil and Tessie, brothers Willie and Francie. Kay will be sadly missed by her loving husband Tony, her beloved children Paul, Liam, Alan, Karl and Liz (Spencer), daughters in law Relly, Ann, Ruth and Janice, son-in-law Jeff, grandchildren Keani, Keegan, Kate, Ryan, Craig, Becky, Amy, Alanna, Jack, Dáire, Kayleigh, Karla, Geoff and Ella, great granddaughter Penny, sister Rosari (Murphy), brother-in-law Barry, sister-in-law Anna (Dowling), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Kay will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Wednesday, April 8, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm, Kay's removal will take place on Thursday, April 9, to St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am, after which Kay will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Michael (Mikey) Lawlor, Tullowbrin, Johnswell, Kilkenny, and formerly of Muckalee, Co. Kilkenny. Mikey, in his 90th year, passed away on April 5, 2026 peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, in the compassionate care of the staff of the Barrow Ward, St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Kay (Walsh) and much loved father of Ivan, Mehaul, Marianne and infant Michelle born sleeping. Mikey will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family, brother Shem, sister Kathleen (Larkin), daughter-in-law Dorota, son-in-law Jonas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends. Paddy will be dearly missed by his sons Frank, Martin and Pat, daughters Veronica and Helena, his partner Margaret, brother Tom, sister Breda, daughters-in-law Brigid, Jane and Mary, cherished grandchildren Darragh, Cian, Patrick, Niamh, James, Gary, Rosetta, Jack, and Naomi, beloved great grandchildren Robbie, Alexa, Amelia, Harry and Ben, extended family here and abroad, former work colleagues, neighbours and friends.
