Margaret (Maggie) Doyle (née Cowman)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Doyle (née Cowman), Ballybeg Big, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny. Peacefully in her 91st year at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Sadly missed by her loving family, wife of the late John (Jack). Mother of Hannah Doyle, Una Roche, Peggy Doyle, Mary Whitford, Breda Phelan, Loughlin Doyle and Bernadette Doyle, sister of Una Kehoe and Josie Raimond (USA) and brother-in-law, Carl Raimond, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, Johnny Phelan, William Whitford, John Roche, daughter-in-law, Mary Doyle, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 12 noon today, Friday. Requiem Mass on Sunday in Glynn Church at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St. Mullin's Cemetery. House private on Sunday please.

William (Willie) Kavanagh

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Kavanagh, 5 Fr. Albert Place, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny, 18th October 2018, peacefully, at his home, in the loving care of his family, William (Willie), in his 94th year, beloved husband of Nell and much loved father of Ger, Pat, Sandra and Bill, sadly missed by his wife and family, brothers Freddie and Sean, sisters Betty, Nancy and Martha, son-in-law Sean, daughters-in-law Geraldine, Gina and Kathleen, grandchildren Gemma, Mark, Leah, Sinéad, Aoife, Eoghan, Maeve and Áine, great grandchildren Emily, Rachel, Ryan, Daragh and Isobel, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home today, Friday 19th October, from 5 o'clock with Rosary at 8 o'clock. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Mary's Cathedral, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. House private on Saturday please.

Johanna Morrissey (née Shore)

The death has occurred of Johanna Morrissey (née Shore), Tourtane, Clogh, Castlecomer, Kilkenny, and formerly of Carlow Road, Coon East, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully in the loving care of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Wife of the late Patrick (Paddy) and much loved mother of John, Philip, Mary, Betty and Pat. Deeply regretted by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, John, brother-in-law, John Morrissey, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Coadys Funeral Home, Castlecomer, from 2p.m. today, Friday. Funeral prayers on Saturday at 9.45 a.m., followedby removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Clogh, for 11a.m. Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rosary and vigil prayers at 8p.m. on Friday in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer.
