Bennettsbridge volunteers play their part in removing invasive plant species in Kilkenny

Tidy Towns volunteers in Bennettsbridge working on the river pulling Himalayan Balsam

As part of the Himalayan Balsam programme, the women of Bennettsbridge Tidy Towns and Community Development turned up to pull Himalayan Balsam on their stretch of the Nore at Bennettsbridge. 

The big wave of pulling continues until the end of June.

To get involved and some support contact any member of the local Tidy Towns group.
