All hedgerow cutting has now ceased until August 31. This is an effort to preserve our wildlife and help towards nesting along our roadways. It is also against the law to burn or destroy vegetation during that period.
This ban relates more to the farming community but also relates to others with land bordering roadways as well as estates. Note this ban doesn't relate to private property but be mindful of the nesting period and mind the birds.
