News from the Carlow Kilkenny referendum count
Counting of the votes cast in yesterday's referendum is due to get underway in Kilkenny this morning.
Following a very low turnout, yesterday, it is expected a result from the constituency will emerge in the afternoon.
The national count is taking place at Dublin Castle, from where the final result of the referendum will be announced, later on today.
