A search to find Ireland's next top makeup artist has been launched nationwide.
The woman behind Makeup Academy, Sharleen Collins, has launched the competition with the support of Brendan McDowell, the force behind global beauty brand BPerfect Cosmetics.
Sharleen has worked for premium brands such as Crème de la Mer, Bobbi Brown, and MAC, and has painted the faces of A-listers like Pamela Anderson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Little Mix, among many others.
The winner of Ireland's Next Top Makeup Artist will be awarded a course at Sharleen Collins Academy valued at €5,000, as well as a year's supply of BPerfect Cosmetics makeup, and a chance to get behind the scenes at a BPerfect photoshoot as a professional makeup assistant.
The competition is open to everyone who has a natural flair and a passion for makeup, and no experience is necessary.
Candidates will answer questions on a form and upload a video, after which they will be sent an online course from Sharleen Collins Academy worth €100.
If the candidate makes it to the semi finals, they are sent a Sharleen Collins online course on a trending look(s) that they need to master and perfect on a model in three weeks.
If the candidate makes it to the finals, they are invited to the BPerfect store in Blanchardstown for a showdown, or at Sharleen’s Academy, where Sharleen and her expert team will challenge the finalists to create three make-up looks against the clock.
