66 acres of land leased in three separate lots at Kilkenny auction

Joseph Coogan Auctioneer held land leasing auctions on Friday, February 24 at his premises in Ballycomey House, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny.

Approximately 25 acres of land in Fermoyle, Durrow Co Laois, was leased for five years with no entitlements for €575 per acre.

Another parcel of 12 acres of land at Ballymullen Road Abbeyleix Co Laois was leased for five years with no entitlements for €450 per acre.

Another 29 acres situated at Ballyowen Ballacolla Co Laois was leased for five years with no entitlements was withdrawn from public auction at €380 per acre. It was leased for a higher figure after the auction.

"There is a very good demand for land leasing at present," Coogan said.
