A Teagasc Sheep Spring Grass Walk will take place on the farm of Rory O’Donnell, Clashwilliam, Gowran on Wednesday, February 7 at 2pm. This is part of the Teagasc Grass 10 campaign where Teagasc advisers and specialists will discuss fertiliser and slurry application for early spring grass, using the spring rotation planner and managing soil fertility. All are welcome.
Spring tillage seminar
A Teagasc Spring tillage seminar will take place in the Teagasc Centre, Kells Road, Kilkenny on Wednesday, February 7 at 8pm. Teagasc advisers and specialists will present the latest information on Spring crop agronomy including varieties, sowing rates, crop nutrition, pest management and margin forecasts for 2018. IASIS credits available. All are welcome.
