Kilkenny’s Huw Lawlor
Gaelic Games Correspondent with the Irish Independent, Michael Verney has warned Kilkenny will need to control Shane O'Donnell to give themselves the best chance of winning today's (Saturday) All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final with Clare.
Speaking to the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast, Verney said: "Shane O'Donnell is the one, I think he's the one that needs to be negated, the fact he went out to 11 against Wexford he caused them a hell of a lot of problems, Damien Reck didn't know whether to stick or twist."

"I think that's a particular interesting question against Kilkenny because Richie Reid is generally not a marker he's more of quarter back so O'Donnell is going to have to be passed off to one of the midfielders so I think that's going to be fascinating," Verney added.
