The late Mick Crotty
Tributes continued to be paid to former Kilkenny and James Stephens senior hurler Michael (Mick) Crotty who passed away on Friday.
Mr Crotty first came to prominence on the inter-county scene with Kilkenny in the late 1960s winning an Oireachtas title with the county in 1969. The Village clubman went on to win four All-Ireland medals in the black and amber in 1972, 1974, 1975 and 1979.

Meanwhile, with his beloved James Stephens, the All-Star recipient won four Kilkenny senior hurling championships as well as two All-Ireland titles in 1976 and 1982.
The Kilkennyman's funeral took place on Monday morning in St Patrick's Church with many friends and loved ones from the GAA world and beyond paying tribute.
Among them, UCC GAA, who fondly recalled Crotty's playing time with the college.
