It’s down to the business end of the Allianz Hurling League and Kilkenny’s fate will be decided on home soil as they face and Tipperary and Limerick over successive weekends.

Last Saturday’s defeat to Cork means the Cats currently sit on four points with two wins and two defeats thus far, and everything is still on the line for them with a league final spot and possible relegation not out of the question.

Derek Lyng has made four changes for this weekend's Allianz Hurling League clash with near neighbours Tipperary.

Thomastown's Peter McDonald will captain the side as he replaces Killian Doyle in midfield while there is also an entirely new full forward line with Billy Drennan, TJ Reid and Gearoid Dunne lining up at the expense of Stephen Donnelly, Eoin Cody and Harry Shine.

Sunday's meeting in UPMC Nowlan Park will see TJ Reid make his first start of the year with both Richie Reid and John Donnelly named on the bench for their first involvement in 2025. - TEAM NEWS HERE

Ahead of the showdown, Kilkenny's Mossy Keoghan and Tipperary's Ronan Maher have faced off in a challenge of their own.
