Former Kilkenny forward, Eddie Brennan
Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny, Eddie Brennan has insisted there is 'talent' in the inter-county fold despite a 'mixed bag' of results for Derek Lyng's side in the Allianz Hurling League so far.
Kilkenny face off against Tipperary in UPMC Nowlan Park today (Sunday), with the game commencing at 1.15pm.
"We're probably a bit of a mixed bag at the moment. We've mixed very good then with average and like us all, you want perfection but you don't dominate a full match for 70 minutes," the Graigue Ballycallan clubman told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"I suppose the trick is and I often use this saying, 'how good is your bad?' so when you're under the pump and when you're under pressure and the opposition are on their hot streak, it's how you cope with that," he said, adding, "you'd like to see Kilkenny manage (games) a little bit better but that comes with matches and blending the guys together, like we have lots of talent in Kilkenny."
