Legendary ex-Kilkenny hurler is back hitting the target!

Four years after calling time on his inter-county career, former Kilkenny player, Paul Murphy is back trying to hit the target, but of a different kind...

The corner-back ended his black and amber career with four All-Ireland titles and these days Murphy is still going strong with his beloved Danesfort, who will be hoping to secure a return to the St Canice's Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship in 2026,as they attempt to gain promotion from the intermediate ranks.

In the meantime, Murphy spends his days working in the Irish Defence Forces, taking a trip the Glen of Imaal with colleagues on Thursday.
