All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny weds long-term partner

Two-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny, Joey Holden has married his long term partner Laura McCardle at the picturesque Ballykealey House in County Carlow.

The Shamrocks Ballyhale clubman hung up his inter-county boots with Kilkenny in 2021, winning two All-Ireland titles (2014 and 2015) in the process.

Add in seven Leinster medals and an All-Star at county level and a staggering eight senior county championships with the Shamrocks, Holden has achieved a lot in his decorated career, but arguably nothing will top his latest step forward in life.

Amongst the stars in attendance at the ceremony were; TJ Reid, Walter Walsh and Cillian Buckley.

We wish Joey and Laura a lifetime of happiness together.
