Ex-Kilkenny star, Walter Walsh
Kilkenny get their Leinster Senior Hurling Championship campaign underway on Saturday, with the arrival of Galway to UPMC Nowlan Park.
The Cats have yet to beat their guests in the Leinster round-robin series, since the competition was restructured, but speaking to the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast, three-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny, Walter Walsh is hopeful of a 'really strong' performance'.

"I think the last game (against Limerick) was a real positive, if Kilkenny were to lose against Limerick, I think the league would have been looked at as more of a negative," Walsh told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"The games with Galway have been really really close," he commented, adding, "I think Kilkenny playing at home, I think they'll be really strong."
"There's a bit more of an unknown with Galway," he continued.
