According to a report from the Limerick Leader, trains departing both Limerick and Cork to Dublin on July 20 for the All Ireland Senior Hurling Final have sold out.
Given that Cork are through to the All Ireland semi-final while Limerick must win a quarter-final before they reach the semi-final stage (to play Kilkenny assumung they get through that quarter), it shows either remarkable confidence or arrogance from their supporters after a truly epic Munster Final on Saturday evening.
The report says that the 8.25am train leaving Limerick’s Colbert station on Sunday, July 20 has sold out.

Morning slots on Sunday, July 20 from Charleville to Dublin’s Heuston are also sold out. Both the 9am and 11am trains set to depart on that Sunday from the town of Charleville are sold out.
And the Iarnród Éireann website is also indicating that the 8:25am and 10:25am trains from Cork Kent station have also sold out on the same day.
Just in case the Cork and Limerick fans have forgotten, there are still six other teams in the championship (including Kilkenny) that can derail their plans for All Ireland Final day.
