Kilkenny camogie stalwart, Miriam Walsh
Beko and Leinster GAA have launched the 2025 Beko Club Champion, an initiative open to all GAA clubs in Kilkenny.
The accolade rewards and celebrates local GAA club heroes who go above and beyond to help their local community and club. In 2024, Paddy Cooney of Cloneen GAA was chosen as the Kilkenny Beko Club Champion for his incredible dedication and commitment.
Celebrating its 9th year in partnering with Leinster GAA, Beko is encouraging people to enter by submitting details via a simple online mechanic. To enter, people are asked to explain in no more than 200 words which volunteer in their club deserves to be a Beko Club Champion here. Alternatively, there is the option to upload a short video to a club’s social media platform using #BekoClubChampion.

Leinster GAA clubs are encouraged to enter before the closing date for submissions on Friday, September 26 at 5pm with one club from each county to be awarded €1,000 worth of training equipment, as selected by an independent judging panel.
Kilkenny stalwart and 2022 Camogie Player of the year Miriam Walsh was amongst those present at the launch of the initiative to show her support to the cause.
