Danesfort secured a return to the St Canice's Credit Union SHC after two years away on Sunday, beating James Stephens in a cracking Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai IHC Final 2-20 to 1-16.
Goals from Anthony-Ireland Wall (50th minute) and Fionn Mahony in the dying stages along with an inspired double save from Paddy Hogan in the second half aiding Danesfort en route to victory.

"It was a brilliant game, for us the best one yet. We nearly had to beat the Village three or four time in that match to win it," Hogan told CRKC Sport after the match.
"I have no words. It's just unbelievable, unbelievable. I'm lost for words here, I still can't believe it," he added.
