Kilkenny GAA: 'It’s not a huge thing for us' - Shefflin on breaking new record

The Shamrocks moved to the the top of the Kilkenny SHC Roll of Honour after they claimed their 21st county final success over O'Loughlin Gaels on Sunday afternoon.

The win also marked captain TJ Reid's 12th title with the 36 year old leading the way with 11 points in total on the day. - READ MORE HERE

Manager Henry Shefflin is more than familiar with breaking records, but what does this latest accolade mean to him?

"It’s not a huge thing for us but I’ll be honest to say that it’d be foolish not to say it’s something that we are very proud of," Shefflin said when asked about the record title win.

"Some people that are not here anymore, including my own brother, helped us achieve that success over the years so it’s for those kind of people and it’s a great honour for the club to deliver that.
