Muckalee LGFA secure more success following historical year for the Kilkenny club

The celebrations are continuing for Muckalee LGFA who have won the AIB Club moment of the year for 2025.

Muckalee became the first Kilkenny club in 21 years to win the Leinster junior title before going on to land an historic All-Ireland crown for the very first time in the club and county's history.

Last December gave local fans one of the greatest days in Kilkenny Gaelic Football history after the North Kilkenny club stunned Cromane of Kerry to bring the All-Ireland title back to the rural parish.

Kilkenny camogie star Katie Nolan was the late hero after her stoppage time free sealed a dramatic one point victory.

Nolan scored 10 points in total as she proved a real threat in attack with herself and Kate Purcell excelling against the Kingdom opposition. - READ MORE HERE
