Permission has been granted for the erection of stone memorial on a pedestal with crossed hurleys and sliotar in County Kilkenny.
The application was lodged back in September by Kathleen Renehan, Sec. of Johnstown Heritage Group.
The memorial is set to be erected on Chapel Street, Foulkscourt, Johnstown, County Kilkenny.
Permission was granted on November 23, subject to six conditions.
