KILKENNY fans have been told to embrace the All-Ireland final experience and milk it for every bit of enjoyment they can because the current golden run won’t last forever.

Cats’ manager, Brian Cody was almost beside himself with joy when he guided Kilkenny through to an astonishing 11th All-Ireland final during his resign, and sixth on the trot, when they eased past Waterford in the semi-finals in Croke Park on Sunday.

“The final is not just for the players to enjoy, but for everyone in Kilkenny,” Mr Cody said when he looked forward to the September 4 clash against either defending champions, Tipperary or National League kings, Dublin, who contest the second semi this weekend.

“Fans should get as much out of the All-Ireland final as they can because it is a great occasion,” Mr Cody continued. See this week’s Kilkenny People for full coverage of Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final win
