Kilkenny College
A short ceremony will take place this afternoon at Kilkenny College to mark the commencement of construction of the new music and arts building.
The sod-turning event will also be one of the first engagements for new principal Emma Raughter.
The site of the new building will also be blessed by the new Bishop of Cashel, Ferns and Ossory Adrian Wilkinson.
