Superb line up for this years Clancy Brothers Festival - Kilkenny Live

'The Wood of O' will be performing on June 4

Legendary musicians Donal Clancy and Rory Makem will perform at Strand Theatre in Carrick-on-Suir as part of the Clancy Brothers festival which takes place from May 31 to June 5.

Donal and Rory carry on the musical legacy, stories, and songs of their legendary fathers, Liam Clancy and Tommy Makem.

Donal and Rory will be joined on stage by Donncadh Gough (bodhrán) and Brendan Clancy on (fiddle/mandolin).

Booking for this event is now open and early booking is advisable. The concert takes place on Saturday, June 3 at 8pm and admission is €20.

The festival organisers are also delighted to announce that ‘The Wood of O’ will be performing at the Clancy Brothers Music and Arts Festival on Sunday, June 4 at 8pm in The Nano Nagle Chapel, Clancy House and tickets are €15. Booking is now open at Tudor Artisan Hub, 42 Main Street in Carrick On Suir.

‘The Wood of O’ singer/songwriter Breege Phelan and songwriter/composer Will McLellan have been mesmerizing audiences for the past five years with their unique original material and classic folk songs. This is a gig you don’t want to miss.
