Some limited bright spells in Kilkenny this morning (Wednesday) but overall a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain extending to all areas through the afternoon, heavy at times with the chance of isolated thunderstorms.
A cooler day than of late with highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees generally.
Fresh and gusty east to southeast winds will gradually moderate.
A mild, damp and cloudy night in-store with outbreaks of rain continuing.
Temperatures not falling below 7 to 11 degrees in mostly light to moderate southerly winds with mist and hill fog developing.
