Bríd Lyons and Luke Clerkin - Pictures Mark Hill & Julie O'Brien
After playing a sold out show in Dublin’s Workman’s Club in February, singer songwriters, Bríd Lyons from Kilkenny and Luke Clerkin from Dublin, will embark on a mini Co-Headline tour at the end of May.
The pair will play dates in Little Whelan’s in Dublin, John Lee’s Bar in Tullamore and Hole in the Wall in Kilkenny.
Talking about the tour, Bríd Lyons said:
“I'm delighted to be taking to the road after the release of my debut EP. This will not only be my first tour but it will also be my first time headlining in my hometown of Kilkenny. I’m delighted to be doing more shows with Luke after what has been a great year of sharing the stage together.”
Bríd Lyons is a Kilkenny born singer, songwriter and folk musician.
Coming from the working class area of Tallaght in Dublin, Luke Clerkin wears his heart and his hometown on his sleeve, using his music to not only escape his own struggles with mental health, but to also help others with theirs.
The duo will perform at The Hole in the Wall on May 27. Tickets are €10 (+booking) online / €12 on the door and are available on eventbrite.
