DCCI Design week launched in Kilkenny

KILKENNY

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Simon Coveney visited Kilkenny last week to mark the return of Design & Crafts Council Ireland Irish Design Week for its second year.

Along with Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment Neale Richmond, they met Paul Young, co-founder, Creative Director and Producer, Cartoon Saloon; Tom Watts, Head of Design, Design and Crafts Council Ireland and Rosemary Steen, CEO, Design & Crafts Council Ireland at the Castle Yard, Kilkenny.

Irish Design Week is a national programme of events taking place across Ireland from November 13-17. This year's theme; Is Folklore the Future? explores Ireland's rich heritage of folklore and storytelling.
