'Light Up the Bridge' will take place on Saturday, August 19 following the Kells Kings Charity Cycle in the village.
This event offers people an opportunity to remember and pay tribute to loved ones who have passed. 'Light up the Bridge' bags, which you can personalise by adding a photo of a loved one or adding a message, can be purchased for €5 from Cois Nore, Bob’s Shop, Mairead’s Hair Salon and local churches. These bags will be placed on Kells Bridge on the night alongside a candle which will be lit at 9pm.
